A29 in NYC: Troops Home Now!

The United For Peace and Justice (UFPJ) coalition organized a demonstration against the war in Iraq on April 29 in New York City. Over 1,300 organizations make up the UFPJ coalition. LNR regular Ken Heard -- for the People's Weekly World, the People's Voice (Canada), and the Weekly Worker (UK) -- recorded highlights.

Included: A percussion-backed collection of chants, the New York City Labor Chorus, a song "Solidarity Forever", and interviews with several demonstrators.

Following the demo highlights, we air a few minutes of announcements about upcoming events you may want to attend.
