This week we bring you a rich selection from the recordings of Ken Heard:
First up, a song, some announcements, and a speech excerpt recorded at the Brandywine Peace Community (BPC) Potluck Dinner of September 10. The song: "We Was Just Boys," about the Civil War. The speaker: George Lakey, a mentor for generations of non-violent activists, talking about "100 Years of People Power"; introduced by Bob Smith, the BPC's lead rabble-rouser, who also tells about happenings surrounding the "Declaration of Peace".
Second and finally, recorded at a "rally to protect the Constitution", we present John Dean, former White House counsel (Nixon administration), star Watergate witness, and author of many books, including Worse than Watergate: The Secret Presidency of George W Bush.
