Radio hardly gets any better than when poets take the air. Add a line-up of knowledgable readers. Select the readings from a centuries-long literary tradition. Wrap it up in a presentation emceed by an Oxford-educated professor, and you've got a poetic feast. Recorded February 6 at Rutgers University's Cappuccino Academy in Marlton NJ, Professor M.A.R. Habib introduces us to Islamic poetry. Students and professors alike took the podium to read forth beautiful words and meaningful ideas selected from various periods of the Islamic literary tradition.
