An Alternative to Camden's Disastrous Schools

This week, we air a conversation between two ardent advocates of homeschooling as an alternative to disastrous inner-city schools. One, Robert E Kay MD, has spoken for years to whomever will listen about the drawbacks of conventional schooling and the advantages of approaches that give children the freedom and encouragement to take learning into their own hands. The other, Angel Cordero, puts many of these forward-thinking ideas into practice as director of the Community Educational Resource Network and the Eastside Preparatory School, both headquartered at Bethel United Methodist Church in Camden NJ.
